Each diffuser lasts approximately 4-6 weeks. Unless you live in the desert. If you do , you need to move. It's too hot there ;)

Simple twist cap off , remove rubber stopper, place cap back on and turn upside down for 3 seconds to allow oil to reach the cap. Then remove top and place stopper back on your bottle. 
You can live on the edge like I do and no need to add the stopper back , just don't drive like a cowboy bc if any oil spills out of that little bottle it can stain your dashboard.
